Richard Clinton, M.D.

Dr. Clinton joined the Charleston Imaging team in September 2009 after spending five years in hospital based practice. Originally from Tupelo, Mississippi, Dr. Clinton received his undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University where he graduated with honors. He later earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee, completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at The University of Florida – Shands, and a fellowship in musculoskeletal from the Mayo Clinic. Before moving to the Lowcountry, Dr. Clinton acted as Partner in Radiology Associates at Satilla Regional Medical Center in Waycross, GA, where he also served on the medical executive committee. He has a particular interest in radiological applications in sports medicine. Additionally, Dr. Clinton’s family is enjoying their move to the Charleston area, as his personal hobbies include boating, diving, and fishing, while his wife is a professional equestrian.
